‘Less is more’ is a commonly heard phrase, but what does it mean when talking about art creation? 🧐 Ting Yin Yung, a renowned modern master from Hong Kong, applied this minimalist philosophy to his whimsical and lively one-stroke animals and men. 🐈🐟🐦 Show us how you interpret this amazing world by entering our drawing competition! To complement the exhibition Enduring Strength and Passion: The Chinese and Western Art of Ting Yin Yung, UMAG is thrilled to invite you to take part in the All In One Stroke Drawing Competition. Visit the exhibition, pick your favourite piece and then reinterpret it with an original artwork that is reminiscent of how Ting Yin Yung used fluid lines to create various forms of creatures. The drawing can be completed using any medium, though the work must be submitted digitally through Instagram.
