    About DON GIOVANNI

    Don Giovanni is an opera in two acts with music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and an Italian libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte. It is based on the legend of Don Juan, a fictional libertine and seducer.

    About LE NOZZE DI FIGARO

    The Marriage of Figaro is an opera buffa (comic opera) in four acts composed in 1786 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, with an Italian libretto written by Lorenzo Da Ponte. This opera buffa is also one of Mozart’s most well-known pieces.

    About OPERA HONG KONG

    Established in 2003, Opera Hong Kong is committed to enhancing the appreciation for the art of opera in Hong Kong, and to promoting local musical talent. In 2015, OHK launched The Jockey Club Opera Hong Kong Young Artist Development Programme (the Programme), a three-year opera training programme funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, in order to nurture ten professional young local artists.

    About UMAG

    Founded in 1953, UMAG is the oldest continuously operated museum in Hong Kong. Chief among its collections are the Museum’s ceramics, which display the extraordinary achievements of the Chinese potter from jars painted in the Neolithic period to the decorative porcelains of the Qing dynasty. The permanent collection is complemented by a broad range of special exhibitions and contemporary and ancient art works, including chinoiserie tapestries produced by the Beauvais manufactory in France and 100 documentary images from the renowned Magnum photographer Erich Lessing.
